The Sulphur Springs Museum hosts several annual events celebrating local culture and community. Events take place on the Museum grounds in scenic Mann-Wagnon Park, nestled alongside the Hillsborough River. All events are free. Follow our social media for updates on upcoming events.
Arts, Crafts, and Entrepreneur Festival
Held in late February, this event showcases the talents and creativity of local artisans, crafters, and entrepreneurs. Attendees are able to view and purchase a variety of items, including original artwork, unique crafts, clothing, jewelry, and many more one-of-a-kind handmade items.
Juneteenth Celebration
In June, the Museum commemorates Juneteenth, honoring the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. The celebration includes educational programs, cultural performances, and community gatherings that reflect on the significance of this historic event.
Taste of Pumpkin Festival and Health Fair
Held in late October, this event celebrates the autumn season with a variety of pumpkin-themed activities and health-focused initiatives. Attendees can enjoy pumpkin-inspired dishes, engage in activities that promote wellness, and join in fun outdoor games and crafts.
Back-to-School Celebration
Held in early August, this event features educational resources, entertainment, and giveaways to ensure neighborhood students start school with necessary supplies.
